With more than 35 thousand visitors and 800 participating exhibitors, the numbers again this year confirmed the growing interest of professionals in the SPS IPC Drives exhibition and the world of automation.

As we have already seen, this sector is enjoying excellent health in Italy, driven in particular by initiatives related to Industry 4.0. Going beyond national borders reveals a rich calendar of automation fairs abroad that can be interesting opportunities to forge business relationships even in more distant countries and to aim for internationalization.

SINDEX, BERNE (SWITZERLAND), 28-30/08/2018

Organized every two years,
Sindex
is Switzerland’s most important trade fair in the industry. It provides a showcase for services and products in industrial automation, electrical engineering, fluid technology and robotics. The last edition in 2016 was attended by 13,000 visitors and more than 400 exhibitors, and this year’s edition will again be accompanied by a program of events and conferences discussing artificial intelligence, the digital world and data analytics.

AUTOMATIK, BRØNDBY (DENMARK), 11-13/09/2018

Automatik provides lectures and demonstrations of products for industrial automation, process automation, robotics, and drive technologies for a target audience consisting mainly of technicians and engineers. The event includes lectures and seminars on maintenance and safety, which in past editions were very well received by an audience of more than 700 participants.

ALL ABOUT AUTOMATION, LEIPZIG (GERMANY), 12-13/09/2018

Aimed at experts and decision makers, All about automation is Germany’s regional trade fair for industrial automation that focuses on off-the-shelf products and solutions. The event aims to bridge component and system manufacturers, distributors and service providers of automation technology with users in the industrial regions of central Germany. Last year’s edition was attended by 95 exhibitors and more than 800 visitors.

SMART INDUSTRY SOLUTIONS, MUMBAI (INDIA), 11-12/10/2018

Organized by Messe Frankfurt (the same as SPS IPC Drives), the Smart Industry Solutions trade show focuses on the latest technologies in Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing. The first launch edition ended with 48 exhibitors and over 2,000 commercial buyers participating from India and abroad. Smart Industry Solutions brought together some of the leading companies with leading industrial automation experts to gain insights into the future of the Indian market.
