Industrial automation, the 2018 trade shows

Industrial automation: Mecspe, SPS IPC Drives, IPACK-IMA: we take a look at the most significant events in Italy for industry professionals.

2018 also includes a busy schedule of trade shows on industrial automation: industry professionals can take advantage of the visibility offered at these events to initiate new business relationships and develop business opportunities.

The industry trend, moreover, already dominant in 2017, is Industry 4.0, which will be increasingly established in companies that are seeking innovation and process optimization.

But let’s take a look at what are the main Italian exhibitions to look out for.

The event has been partly rethought, thanks in part to the new organizing company, which is in fact a joint venture between UCIMA (Union of Italian Automated Packaging Machinery Manufacturers) and Fiera Milano. This collaboration led to the development of a new visitor experience that will be sorted according to the identified target markets, named “business community”: food-fresh convenience; pasta, bakery & milling; confectionary; beverage; health & personal care; industrial & durable goods; chemicals industrial & home; fashion & luxury.

To help exhibitors and weave business networks, the fair also provides an online platform for arranging business meetings. The IPACK IMA exhibition also features in-depth coverage of industry-related topics. Industry 4.0, safety and anti-counterfeiting, food and non-food quality and traceability, sustainability and circular economy applied to the world of processing and packaging will be discussed.
