SPS IPC Drives 2019 Exhibition Guide

SPS IPC Drives 2019: The event dedicated to industrial automation returns May 28-30: here are some pointers to prepare. EiQ Industrial will present switchboards in Hall 5, booth H064.

Italy, with nearly 5 billion in consolidated sales (according to ANIE Automazione), is the second largest market in Europe for automation.

All the more reason, then, for SPS IPC Drives 2019, scheduled for May 28-30 in Parma, to hold a prominent place in the panorama of events dedicated to this sector. On this occasion, industry professionals who wish to stay up-to-date on the latest in the smart, digital and flexible industry will come together to discuss and identify new business opportunities.

EiQ Industrial will not miss the event, and in Hall 5, booth H064, will present AISI 304 and AISI 316L stainless steel switchboards certified to IP66, IP69K and UL. And in addition to the catalog items, including the new range for hygienic applications, our sales team will be available to explain how we are able to create customized solutions on request.

SECTORS.

The SPS IPC Drives 2019 exhibition includes a wide group of product sectors, confirming the importance of this event in the industrial automation landscape. Specifically, the reference categories include:

  • Drive systems and components
  • Electromechanical components and peripheral devices
  • Sensors
  • Control technology
  • IPC
  • Industrial software
  • Interfacing technology
  • Low-voltage switching devices
  • Human-machine interface devices
  • Industrial communication
  • Training and consulting
  • System integrator
  • Trade associations

In 2018, more than 35 thousand visitors visited the booths, while there were more than 800 exhibitors. This year, as many as 850 are expected.

PAVILIONS AND EVENTS

As the trade show body reports, Halls 3, 5 and 6 will feature all the best in automation technologies and software solutions serving factory digitization.

Halls 4, 7 and 4.1 will feature a track consisting of four thematic areas: Advanced Automation, Digital&Software, Robotics and Mechatronics, and Competence Academy.

The solutions exhibited, starting with a real case history, will succeed in illustrating the potential of a technology and not a single product, and at the same time will be able to highlight what skills companies need to implement the most innovative applications.

A special focus will be on robotics and mechatronics in Hall 4.1, partly because of the steady growth of these technologies, which have landed in many factories, including small ones.

There is no shortage of institutional meetings, scientific conferences and technical seminars. Standing out in the schedule in terms of value and interest are the meetings for professional development and scientific conferences, organized in collaboration with the event’s Scientific Committee, with recognition of educational credits. The full list is available here.

Also of note on the morning of May 28 was ANIE Automation’s presentation of market data, trends and scenarios during the inaugural conference “The Future of Industry?”

Finally ample space is also given to educational events.
